Kelly Skovira is certified nurse practitioner in women’s health care. Kelly began her educational journey at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing. She then received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from the Pennsylvania State University. While working at Latrobe Family Clinic, she continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh were she graduated Sigma Theta Tau with a Masters of Science in Nursing. She now is pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Waynesburg University.

Kelly began her career as a diploma nurse working on an OB/Gyn unit in 1984. Her commitment to women’s health has grown over the past 24 years. Kelly has been involved in every aspect of women’s health including: labor and delivery, postpartum, family planning, and now menopausal care. Health education has always been a top priority in Kelly’s career. She has coordinated prenatal education classes, "Becoming a Woman" classes and family planning education classes. Kelly has been a Certified Lamaze Instructor, a Certified CPR Instructor and a Certified Asthma Educator.
